This piece is about a moment that didn’t go how anyone expected. I showed up calm, willing to talk, and was met with chaos instead.
Some people call it confrontation—I call it clarity.
Not every situation deserves your energy, and not every voice deserves your response.
Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is say your truth… and walk away.
Noise doesn’t equal power
Weak energy. Weak minded, and Weak argument. Don’t come at me with your negative energy.

Noise in a Glass
They said, “just talk,” so I came to the table,
didn’t expect you’d come in so unstable.
Sat down steady, didn’t raise my tone,
then you went off like I wasn’t grown.
Started screaming, loud and wild,
said I embarrassed you like I’m a child.
“Not loyal,” you said, throwing blame,
like drunk words rewrite my name.
Glass in your hand, anger in your voice,
but I don’t sit quiet when I got a choice.
I said, “you earned every piece of this heat,
don’t start something you can’t repeat.”
Told you straight, no sugar, no filter,
“you lit this fire—don’t play the victim.”
Then I said what I meant, didn’t miss a beat,
“my song’s gonna hit—number one in the street.”
“I hope you hear it,” I said, “loud on the radio,”
while you sit there talking, putting on a show.
But noise ain’t power and drunk ain’t truth,
and I don’t lose sleep over bitter proof.
Then hands came in, stepped between,
voices cut through, broke the scene.
“Calm it down,” yeah that was said,
before it went somewhere we’d both regret.
So I stood up—yeah I was done,
said what I said, I don’t gotta run.
No dragging it out, no second round,
I left your chaos sitting there loud.
No clean ending, no fixing ties,
just hard truth and no disguise.
You kept yelling—I let it be,
walked away… and chose me.
