'Sup peeps, Chris from Strength in Numbers here.
Dropping in to give you a long deserved update. We've got a lot of good news, and some bad news on the way. Be forewarned that some details will be missing as there's been a lot of private, behind closed doors kinda things going on. Rest assured those issues are being worked out as we speak, and we're hoping for some positive outcomes on all of them. A lot of the bad news rests behind those closed doors, so we do thank you in advance for being so patient with us in that regard.
NOW! Sorry, didn't mean to scare you.
A lot of the really bad news is the personal stuff, so you dodged the bullet there, there's some smaller bad news, but that really comes as an after-effect of the good news (which is really good)
Anyway, as some of you know, and as the rest are being filled in now; there are quite a few members of our intrepid band (myself included) who have ties to the film industry, and those ties as you might imagine give us job opportunities. Let's just say the summer blockbuster seasons of the next few years are being very good to us. With these jobs popping up (as I said, bad news after-effects) it has slowed down our projected production schedules here at Strength in Numbers.
But it hasn't stopped us, oh no. Not this group.
This is actually recharging us, giving us hope and the kind of self-esteem boost you possibly imagine. We've been slogging through a very tough spot behind doors, some of our members more than others, and this surge in work (on some very-cool-projects-that-we-really-want-to-tell-you-but-can't-due-to-life-crippling-amounts-of-legal-and-financial-trouble-breaking-our-NDA's-would-create kinda projects) has given us new life and a new outlook on what we can really do. Plus having contacts in the industry can only mean great things for our little fledgling company (and no I'm not saying you should expect celebrity cameos in our future projects, but stranger things have happened, and I still didn't say there would be, so shush.)
Beyond gushing about all the great things we're doing OUTSIDE of the company (really didn't mean to go on about it that long.) Let's talk about the great things happening INSIDE the company.
As it stands right now we've almost doubled in size within the last three months. We're putting together sub groups within the company, welcomed new members, begun meeting and negotiating with talent for acting roles. We have a new photographer in our midst, as well as friends of friends who've shown a great aptitude for our passions and ideas, who we'd love to work with. Every step we take we gain a wealth of knowledge and skill from like minded individuals, and we come together to bring the best product we can.
It really is exciting stuff.
In the end though, we really want to thank everyone past present and future who can read this message through our page. Everyone who's liked our page so far, and everyone who likes the page even after this post. It means so very much to us to have your support, and we thank you from the bottom of our heart for sticking with us, believing in us, spreading the word about us, and soon enjoying what we put out for you. We've got a slew of multimedia projects planned, and as soon as it's ready, we'll deliver it straight to you. Make sure to check out and subscribe to our official channels on YouTube ('Strength in Numbers' and our secondary channel 'The Evening Crowd') If you're interested in more updates from me, go ahead and follow me on twitter
I'll see you on the road, and remember: there's Strength in Numbers.
