Class is starting up again on Wednesday and will be each Wednesday from 10:00am - 1:00pm. Each session will run the full calendar month which means some months the tuition will be $44 and some months $55. There is a non-resident fee of $6.00 per session.

Call the City of Ontario at (909) 395-2020 to register.

We've added an exciting new class for enameling! For the first time, kids ages 12 & up will be able to learn how to enamel. This class (suitable for a parent to join as well) will concentrate in the beginning on making some small jewelry pieces and then advance at the student's own pace to larger, more difficult pieces. Everyone in the class will wind up with their unique art to take home and enjoy. All supplies are available in class - bring nothing but your imagination and enthusiasm.

The Armstrong Center offers classes in the art of enameling. Learn to apply glass powders to copper then fire in a kiln to create beautiful works of art. Everything you need is available at the center. You will need to purchase the base copper pieces either through the Center or bring in your own (for a small fee). Other places charge hundreds of dollars for their classes with limited access to kilns. The Armstrong Center has 4 kilns and an enormous supply of glass powders. This is the best place to let your inner artist loose. There are many different ways to enamel and experimentation is encouraged. Classes are held on Wednesdays and are 3 hours long. Log onto the Ontario's site at: www.ontarioca.gov and look for their Recreation brochure, in the Arts & Crafts section for details on specific session days, times and prices.
