I have said it before, and I will say it forever… I never take for granted the stories that are placed into my hands. 🤍

This one brought me to tears.

A beautiful mama and her own mama, carrying the love and memory of the sweetest little girl who left this world far too soon. A little girl with the most beautiful doe eyes, the most beautiful smile, a heart filled with nothing but love… and bows. 🎀

Her baby hair was entrusted to me to create something they could hold close. Something tangible. Something that, even for just a moment, makes the impossible distance between heaven and earth feel a little smaller.

Because when you lose a child, you search for pieces of them everywhere. You hold onto the tiniest things. A lock of hair. A favorite bow. A photograph. A memory. Anything that says, She was here. She was loved. She still matters.

And she does.

One of the questions I hear most often is:

“What happens to my ashes, hair, flowers, or breastmilk after my keepsake is made?”

The answer is simple: I treat every single inclusion as if it belonged to my own family.

Whether you’re entrusting me with the ashes of a loved one, your beloved pet’s fur, your baby’s breastmilk, dried flowers from your wedding, or another irreplaceable memory, every step of the process is handled with the utmost care, respect, and compassion.

Any unused inclusions are carefully packaged and returned to you with your completed keepsake. Nothing is ever treated as “just material”. Because I personally know it’s so much more than that.

To every mama who is struggling with her breastfeeding journey… 🤍

Please know that you are not alone, and you do not have to feel left out when it comes to preserving this chapter of your motherhood journey.

Every story is different. Some moms exclusively breastfeed, some pump, some supplement, and some are unable to produce milk at all. None of these paths make you any less of a mother.

One of the most beautiful things we’ve experienced at Luna & Grace is the kindness of our community. We’ve had several incredible mamas choose to donate their breastmilk so that another mother could have the opportunity to create a meaningful keepsake she otherwise wouldn’t have been able to.

Motherhood isn’t about how you feed your baby. It’s about the love you pour into them every single day.

Hello, and welcome to everyone who’s recently joined our Luna & Grace Keepsakes family. 🤍

I thought I’d take a moment to introduce myself.

My name is Heather, and I’m the owner and creator behind every keepsake that leaves my studio.

Luna & Grace wasn’t created simply because I wanted to make jewelry. It was born from love, loss, and a promise.

After losing my two baby boys, Allen and Angelo, I searched for something that would allow me to keep them close. I wanted more than a memory tucked away in a box given to me by the hospital. I wanted something I could wear, hold onto, and carry with me every single day. That journey became the foundation of Luna & Grace.

Today, I have the incredible honor of preserving ashes, breastmilk, baby hair, pet fur, dried flowers, wedding memories, fabric, and so much more into timeless keepsakes. Every piece tells a story, and every story deserves to be treated with compassion, care, and respect.

As a Certified Grief Coach, I know that what you entrust to me is never “just ashes,” “just hair,” or “just flowers.” They are pieces of your life, your love, and your memories. My commitment has always been about so much more than creating jewelry. It’s about helping you hold onto the people, pets, and moments that have shaped your heart.

Many of you know me through Luna & Grace Keepsakes, but what you may not know is that Luna was born from my own journey through unimaginable loss.

Recently, I had the opportunity to share more about my upcoming film, Beneath The Silence. While it’s a different creative path, its heart is the same as Luna’s: creating space for grief, honoring love, and reminding people they are never alone in what they’re carrying.

Everything I create- whether it’s a keepsake holding someone’s most precious memories or a film telling the stories that often go unspoken- comes from the same place: compassion, healing, and hope.

Grief is one of the loneliest journeys a person can walk. It doesn’t follow a timeline, it doesn’t make sense, and it certainly doesn’t look the same for everyone.

If you’re grieving, I want you to know this:

If you need to cry until there are no tears left, cry.
