Hip Hop turning 50 was so exciting but being in The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and walking through exhibits of the achievements over the years was surreal. I was so proud and in awe. As the female half of Dynamite Jive I wasn't a pioneer in the industry but I was still at the forefront of many experiences in 2001 and on as a female on the mic, on stages where many times the acts were all men, and then again as a female DJ. We've come a long way baby!!!!! 🎉
