For all of you who attended our spring musical, THANK YOU! And we have some exciting news to share! The Nebraska Theater Academy 2026 Awards were announced today and, for the first time ever, Elkhorn South was recognized for Outstanding Ensemble for their production of "Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical!"
🎭 In addition, senior Sua Kim and freshman Nicolas Abagge were both honored for Outstanding Performance in a Supporting Role!
🌟 And our very own Matilda, Emma Davis received a callback for the National Jimmy Award Nebraska Finalists!
🏆 At the Awards Showcase in May, Elkhorn South will be represented in the showcase ensemble by Ben Schlenker and Madeline Scarsi!
CONGRATULATIONS to everyone involved in making this production such a huge success! We are SO proud of you!

Crystal Cup requires hundreds of volunteer hours over the weekend of the event, but even more time is spent brainstorming, planning, scheduling, troubleshooting, and getting all the things organized in the year leading up to the competition! Thank you to our amazing committee chairs for your leadership and commitment to this event and to our vocal music program!
