Midwest Steppers of Omaha - MWS Chicago 8 count dancing Chicago-Style Stepping is an urban dance genre with its roots firmly entrenched in the south and west sides of Chicago.

The dance has been formally structured around an eight (8) step count but, allows the dancers freedom for improvisation and creativity to manipulate that (8) step count at their individual discretion. Chicago-Style Stepping is arguably the fastest growing urban/social network growing in the United States. There are Chicago-Style Stepping Organizations springing up in nearly every State in the Union.
