Midwest Steppers of Omaha - MWS

Midwest Steppers of Omaha - MWS Chicago 8 count dancing Chicago-Style Stepping is an urban dance genre with its roots firmly entrenched in the south and west sides of Chicago.

The dance has been formally structured around an eight (8) step count but, allows the dancers freedom for improvisation and creativity to manipulate that (8) step count at their individual discretion. Chicago-Style Stepping is arguably the fastest growing urban/social network growing in the United States. There are Chicago-Style Stepping Organizations springing up in nearly every State in the Union.

OMG, even with the down pour today we had an awesome turnout for the steppin class. Gulf Coast Steppin Krewe is officially on the books. Executive team is set up and we about to to make this thing happen here on the coast. If you couldn't make it due to the weather you can still come next Saturday on the 9th. Satchmo's 1:00 pm.

MWS represented in MN. Night one jeans, night two shades of cherry and night three all white. There was all levels of stepping contest with some heavy hitters participating. For those who love to line dance they had a room dedicated to it plus a line dance contest. Something for all. Check it out next year.
