✨ So… how long does it REALLY take to make one of my pieces?

Some of my pieces are done with Epoxy Resin and some are UV resin. UV resin is called “quick curing,” but that definitely does NOT mean “quick to make.” 😂

The resin itself can cure in just a few minutes per layer, but every piece still has to be built, cured, checked, cleaned, assembled, and finished. Depending on the design, glitter, color, number of layers, and how much detail is involved, the time adds up FAST.

👻 Ghostie Earrings — ~20–30 minutes per pair

Each ghost is poured, with glitter/color/details added between cures (depending on layers). Then they have to be demolded, edges checked and cleaned up, holes/fittings added, and the earrings assembled.

🖤 BrüMate Era Toppers — ~30–45+ minutes each

These are a whole different level of tiny-detail chaos. 😂

There’s designing, building the layers, placing glitter/details, curing each section, checking for imperfections, adding the final finish, and making sure everything fits the lid properly.

Because darker colors and heavy glitter can slow UV pe*******on, those layers may need additional curing time.

🐾 Custom Dog Tags — ~45–75 minutes of actual work

The tag itself gets built layer by layer with the colors, glitter, personalization, and finishing details, like the phone number on the back.

And this is where “30 minutes to make” can be misleading—because curing isn’t always the same thing as working.

When you buy handmade, you’re not just buying the finished piece.

✨ The tiny detail work
✨ The multiple resin layers
✨ The curing time
✨ The demolding
✨ The cleanup
✨ The hardware & assembly
✨ The inevitable “WHY DID THAT BUBBLE APPEAR?!?!” moment 😂
✨ And the time spent making sure the final piece is something I’d actually be proud to put my name on and allow you to take home.

UV resin may cure in minutes…

but Glimmer Dust pieces are made with a whole lot more than just resin. 🖤✨

(Epoxy resin is a whole different ball game, folks 😉)
