Thanks to everyone who came out and supported my mom’s art and jewelry show this past Sunday here at BLC WHQ. It was a fun afternoon, and great to see people out and about shopping on a weekend. During one bewildering moment, half of the people inside the shop were named Mary.

Shoutout to my mom Norma Torres Lausten. She does custom paintings and custom jewelry and a whole buncha custom creative stuff. Her stuff will stay up at the shop alongside some of my stuff if you missed the show.

Come check it out. Good for Christmas gifts coming up.

And shoutout to all the Marys too.

📅 SUNDAY, SEPT. 27
⏰ 1–4 PM
📍 BLC | 5030 S 135th St.

Norma’s an artist/painter/jewelry maker/birthday cake baker, and just one of those people with a natural eye for design and fashion. She’s always been creative, and it’s safe to say a good chunk of my creativity came from her.

Come browse her original paintings and handmade earrings, bracelets, necklaces + more. We’ll have light refreshments, snacks and good company.

Bring your momma. Bring a friend. Stop by anytime.

With the U.S. knocked out of the World Cup, thought it'd be a good time to relive the glory of the USA Hockey's gold medal win over Canada in the Olympics last February. New hats/merch featuring Conor Hellebuyck's legendary diving stick save.

(Little warm for the sweatshirts tho)

BLC x Johnny Goodman

New collection celebrating Omaha’s own Johnny Goodman, the last amateur to win the U.S. Open. We put together a few designs based off Johnny’s historic win at the 1933 U.S. Open at North Shore Golf Club.

Goodman, nicknamed “The Box Car Kid,” “The Boy Who Beat Bobby Jones” and “Omaha’s David,” proved a caddie from South O could take down the giants of golf.

A century later, his victory at the U.S. Open still echoes as one of the game’s greatest underdog triumphs.

Hats, posters and stickers now available — just in time for the U.S. Open.
