If you haven't heard of Barkley Cove yet, you'll want to catch them at the 2026 White Squirrel Bluegrass Festival. Led by Robert Myers, who previously performed at the festival with the Mountain Music Ambassadors of Morehead State University, Barkley Cove will take the stage from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m. Gates open at 10:00 a.m., with music beginning at 11:00 a.m. Advance tickets are available for $25 at First National Bank in Olney and TrustBank, while gate admission is $30. 🍔 Come hungry to the 2026 White Squirrel Bluegrass+ Festival! 🎶

We’re excited to welcome back Hoveys Diner at this year’s festival on Saturday, September 12!

Since 1952, Hovey’s has been a beloved Olney tradition, known for its legendary burgers, famous chili, hand-cut fries, and classic shakes. Today, Joe and Diane Greifzu proudly continue that legacy, preserving one of the community’s favorite gathering places.

Be sure to stop by for a great meal—and don’t forget, Hovey’s will also be operating the festival beer tent throughout the day!
