Last weekend I got to paint my second live wedding painting! The ceremony was at the beautiful Immaculate Conception Cathedral and the painting was painted live during the reception at the Uptown Theatre so guests could watch as I painted. The painting time was about 5-6 hours and went home with the wedding couple at the end of the night.

Wedding painting has become one of my favorite things to do! I have another one coming up in October and hope to do many more!

Happy May Day! It’s outdoor painting season! Thank you CRJ Photos for new art photos! It was insanely windy and my easel fell over but we did it! Finally have some photos that aren’t taken on my phone at my kitchen table. 😆

Just some updates: In a few weeks I’m participating in a plein aire painting event at the West Bottoms in KC and I have a couple live wedding paintings booked for later this year that I’m really excited about! 👩🏽‍🎨

My moms Mothers Day present! She doesn’t have Facebook so I’m ok posting here. 🤫 I did the watercolor flowers with the thread again, however, these specific flowers are all her 4 grandkids birth month flowers. I’m calling it “Grandma’s Bouqet”. She has a January grandchild- Carnation, February- Iris, March- Daffodil, and September- Morning Glory.
