Plaza District seeks local artists to show in the Plaza Festival Lounge

The 19th Annual Plaza District Festival is calling for artists to submit art for a curated show in the Festival Lounge.

The Plaza District Association is now accepting submissions for Oklahoma artists to display and sell their work in the 2017 Plaza District “Festival Lounge,” September 30.

Curated by Stephen Kovash, we are looking both 3D and 2D work. Specifically we are looking for work that can be displayed outside in a garden, yard or public space. The work can be in any media but must be available for sale. Suggested Media include (but not limited to): Sculpture, Mural, Mosaic, Fiber, “Installation,” Mosaic Mural and Relief Sculpture. Materials should be durable and appropriate for outdoor display. Sales will be handled by the Plaza District Association (PDA) and the artist will receive a 70% commission. 30% of the sales will benefit the PDA. Artists may submit up to 10 pieces. Submissions should be high resolution jpegs or other commonly used image formats.

The 18th Annual Plaza District Festival is calling for artists in State House District 88 to submit art for a curated show in the Festival Lounge.

The Plaza District Association is now accepting submissions for Oklahoma artists to display and sell their work in the 2016 Plaza District Festival “Lounge,” September 24.

Curated by Stephen Kovash, we are looking primarily for 2D art but will have limited room for small 3D pieces. The work can be in any media but must be available for sale. Sales will be handled by the Plaza District Association (PDA) and the artist will receive a 70% commission. 30% of the sales will benefit the PDA. While the artist can submit up to 10 pieces to the curator, only up to 2 will be selected.
