You never know what we will be asked to build. The challenge of spinning a 2500lb car safely. Fabricated/modified this car rotisserie and got to cut up and modify this 2016 Cadillac SRX for 5 Star Productions located in Ft Smith.

A little project we did for a Very Important Person. It all breaks down for easy transport and storage. Made from MDF, Plywood, XPS foam and brushed aluminum ACM, cut on our 6 axis robot.

Take a look at some of the set pieces we fabricated for the recently released movie "Twisters"! We created eight eye-catching sconces, a Freeze, speaker grills, and panel details for the theater scene. Crafted from wood, polycarbonate, Sintra, aluminum, and cast resin, these elements, along with the chandelier we built, play a crucial role in enhancing the film's realism. While we focused on the construction, the finishing touches were added by the exceptional Twisters Art Department. It’s the little details that truly immerse the audience in the story. We recently had the opportunity to fabricate awards for the Thunderbird Drone Festival. Starting with a custom 3D-printed prototype, we created silicone molds and then cast multiple awards to meet the event's needs, ensuring consistent quality and detail across each piece.

We recently fabricated a retro-futuristic armor suit with an automotive-inspired design for a company’s internal production. This project presented numerous technical challenges, but our team excelled at every step. Our crew engineered and built every piece, apart from the gray jumpsuit, which was expertly crafted by the talented Jack Odell.

One of the standout elements, the gauntlet, required over 100 hours of design work and incorporates both a functioning jackhammer and a working claw. It consists of more than 120 individual parts, excluding duplicates.

Our skilled SF team was deeply involved across all facets of this project: Collin took charge of the helmet, Peter led the work on the boots, and Stephen handled the paint and final assembly. I’m proud to work with such a talented and dedicated team.

Ackerman McQueen asked us to design, build and operate a custom 48” turntable for a commercial shoot at One Set’s studio, in front of OSs Volume Wall. Despite a tight deadline, we delivered a fully functional, manually controlled prototype in just four days. Now, we’re upgrading to an aluminum build, adding a computer-based GUI speed and positioning control, and future compatibility with our Bolt X motion control robot. The center of the turntable is shown with a quick rig for an optical tracking sensor, essential for Volume Wall tracking, and we integrated an Ethernet connection for the tracker through a slip ring for uninterrupted rotation.

Here are some photos of the chandelier we created for the movie "Twister's." If you watched the film, you might have noticed it hanging from the ceiling in the movie theater scene. Fabricated from aluminum, Sintra, polycarbonate and PLA 3D printed details. The paint treatment was done by the very talented Meghan Buchanan making our fabricated piece come to life.
It was such a fun project to work on. Thank you to Twister’s Art Department for allowing Shryock Fabrications to be part of this fantastic production.
