Hey y’all!
Not sure if I have ever done a proper intro here, (this won’t be that) so thought I would say hello.

It’s me! The one behind these colorful pics. My name is Cindy and it’s so good to know you! Some of you I’ve known for a long time in real life, while others are new and I may have only known in this space. Still, the community is real and rich—as in deep—and I’m so thankful you’re here with me!

Here are several ways I’ve noticed art has changed me:

1. I brought my hair dryer into the studio to dry my paintings. Now I go to the studio each day to dry my hair!

2. I don’t wear a ton of makeup, but I notice when I do, I layer colors just like on my paintings. My favorite lipstick starts with a bright coral, then a plum/maroon something and finally a lighter pink highlight. Right now I’m technically out of lipstick in case you wonder.

3. My hair has continually gotten crazier and less kept. My daughter said I actually look like one of those crazy artist people—whatever that means.

4. My golf game is great. Well, I don’t actually play golf, but turns out painting has been my trainer for improved mini golf skills. It’s true.

5. I see the world and color and people and everything with different eyes, and it’s really beautiful and endlessly interesting, entertaining and inspiring.

I know I missed some of you because I had to come and go. Boo on that!

Still, so thankful for you and it gives me so much joy to share my art with you. 😘😘
