🚨ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE - JUNE 5🚨
The 24th Annual Historic 25th Street Car Show returns TODAY from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.! This event draws significant foot traffic (over 20,000 visitors on average) and coincides with Ogden’s First Friday Art Stroll and the Ogden Tattoo Convention at Union Station.

To support event operations and ensure public safety, the following road closures will be in effect:
- 25th Street (Wall Ave. to Washington Blvd.) and Kiesel Ave. will be closed from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Vehicle check-in and load-in will take place between 12:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on 25th Street and Kiesel Avenue.
- Grant Avenue (from 26th Street) to the Courthouse driveway will remain open until 11:00 a.m. for courthouse access.
- No overnight parking is permitted Thursday - Saturday.
We encourage the public to utilize free public transportation, available via Ogden Express OGX (Route 603x) and the Ogden Trolley (Route 601).
These routes connect downtown to key locations UTA
Frontrunner Station, The Junction, SU, and Harrison Boulevard.
Free parking is a short walk away and available in the Junction Parking Garages, on-street parking in surrounding areas, and the Wonderblock Parking Garage!

Long before The Monarch became a venue and creative hub, this corner of Ogden was one of the beating hearts of Utah’s automobile era🛞📖📍 For our history buffs…

Built in the 1930s as the Supreme Service Garage and Mitchell Motor Company, these walls once housed polished Packards, Pontiacs, Hudsons, DeSotos, and Mack trucks beneath glowing neon signs and the shadow of the Wasatch Mountains. Part showroom, part service station, and part gathering place, this corner represented freedom, progress, and the excitement of a rapidly changing city.🗺️🧭

Families stopped to admire brand-new cars through massive showroom windows while mechanics worked late into the night servicing travelers, railroad workers, and Hill Field employees passing through Ogden’s busy crossroads. The scent of gasoline, grease, hot rubber, and radiator steam once filled the air where art, music, weddings, markets, and community events now take place.🎉

Nearly 100 years later, the spirit of gathering and movement still lives here…just in a different way. Swipe through a few glimpses of The Monarch before it became what it is today.🧡

This one-of-a-kind event combines fierce performances, delicious brunch vibes, campy bingo rounds, and a celebration of q***r stories that deserve to be read, shared, and protected.
