As a disabled, GenX, stay-at-home mom with AuDHD, I needed something to keep me busy and creative. Crochet came first, but lately resin has been my new hyperfocus. I take utter delight in making unique items for people as well as just letting my imagination go wild.

Tell you what, tho. After figuring out how much material and work it takes to make a base, it's going to be an expensive add on for my chess boards. Cuz holy cow. I'm not going to make one of these for every board or I'd go broke waiting for them to sell. Heh.

Can't wait until it's all done and I see it together with the starry board my client bought. 🤞😍

Finished product is adorable! Next time, tho, I think I need to stick to solid colored skulls cuz the glitter and sequins settled so the clear part by the eyes and nose kinda get lost in the clear holding layer.

Other than that, tho, I love the combo! And since I use the little skull molds for any extra resin after a pour, I have lots to work with! 🥰🥳

I absolutely love how the curio shelf and the Pride heart turned out. And once I get the white base on the skull tray, it's gonna be awesome, too!

I just love that the mini skulls work perfectly in the "bubbles" of the border. ❣️

The white cabinets hold my resin, the stacks with the transparent doors hold my inventory for sales, and everything else finally has a place that makes sense.

I'm so happy with it! And such a gorgeous California beach sky outside my window. 💕

Eeeeee!!! An experiment turned out really cool!

Found these cool flickering USB lights and decided to see how they'd look in something. I used a set of "bubbly" dice and some glitter to fill. Went small and clear, but I think the light would easily light up something bigger and with more color.

Super excited how it turned out! 🎉❣️🥰🥳

It always gets worse before it gets better. I'm going to be at this all day, since I've already been at it since 10am. 😂...

But look at how pretty! We have the four elements chess set, a skull using a plastic holographic rose my sister gave me, and the start of what I'm hoping will be a Christmas wreath/table centerpiece. I can see it in my head, so I'm hoping I can pull it off.

And tonight I need to finish crocheting the baby hat and booties for a customer. Also, I'm waiting on more silicone rubber to finish up the molds for the chess storage project.

After days of beating my head against the wood cutting, the pieces are all finished (slightly uneven in parts, but I doubt anyone but me will notice) and getting their second layer of sealer.

I'm super excited to use the mold frames I got. They came with the binder clips and the double sided tape for the underside.

Here's hoping this works. Once the molds are done, it's easy from there to pour the pieces and epoxy them together. Fingers crossed!

On the plus side, it's working up easier in the wood than the foam board was. 🎉
