STEAM not STEM: Why scientists need arts training

Universities must train scientists to engage with the ethics of emerging technologies, rather than functioning as cogs in the engine of economic development. Integrating the arts into STEM can help.

Dear Saints on Stage family! I am in Portland, Oregon directing a southern comedy about 6 sisters, called BELLES. I had a great meeting with Mr Schmidt prior to leaving for Portland, and I will be submitting several play ideas, non musical, for this year's spring production as soon as I return mid October. We are on track for auditions in mid to late January with rehearsals to start in early February. If you have a play idea, please send me a message. We will be making our decision on the spring play before Thanksgiving to license by Christmas and order scripts. I will be backstage from Thanksgiving on, to clean up and organize for our play! Keep Saints on Stage in your prayers! Looking forward to another great season!

So very excited to see this production hit the St John Lutheran School's stage at the end of April. Please spread the word! This version of the Bard's most popular comedy is set in the cheesy 1980's and is full of corny 80's moments and references. It's going to be a blast! Tickets are on sale already from the school office.
Peter Pan is going to be an amazing show! The director, Kim Sandstrom, always does an incredible job with the Saints on Stage actors so I can guarantee you will enjoy it. Tinker Bell (aka Breanna) would love to see you there! Let me know if you need tickets.
