FIDO Project 2nd Meet & Greet for Pen Pals hosted by Seminole Feed 40 West from 10AM – 2PM. Marion County Animal Services are taking the current class of FIDO Project dogs out to the Seminole Feed Store on Hwy 40 West in Ocala for their second meet and greet event! The "Pen Pals" will be there to meet those who have applied to adopt them, or who want to learn more about the program. Adoptive families will be selected starting after the first event (on December 21st) and before graduation day, January 24th. Jason Sthilaire Fundraiser hosted by CrossFit Pinnacle starting at 9AM. Jason was recently diagnosed with cancer & underwent weeks for chemotherapy. He was told he could resume his normal activities only to have the side affects come back 6 short weeks later. Now the cancer has come back and is now in his bones. He will have to endure a year of chemotherapy to include stem cell transplant & weeks in and out of the hospital. Jason is married and is the sole financial provider for his family.
