Here’s a recently finished commission of a to***co barn, completed for a family with a strong family history for farming in southeastern NC.

-22 x 15”
-graphite, charcoal, pastels, colored pencil

Interesting to***co history:
To***co is one of North Carolina’s most valuable agricultural crops. It was once the top crop in NC and also the top revenue driver/producer for a little longer than a full century. Its decline started in the 1990’s. Its pinnacle for production was in 1951, when one billion pounds was recorded.
