My favorite mother/daughter duo is back together for a one-day market in La Conner, Washington tomorrow, Saturday, July 25th at Maple Hall, 10am-4pm! The combined forces of Verdigris and Vermillion AND Inkish Murmuring-Bonnie L. will be vending our wares and seeing who can out-snack the other, so come find us inside Maple Hall on the ground floor and say hi (we might even share a snack if we like you!)!

I finished a brand new piece last night to debut at this weekend's Maker Fest in La Conner's Maple Hall, 10am-4pm! I love the colors of this bull kelp forest scene--I'm usually a watercolor and gouache girl, but lately I've taken the notion to paint directly on wood. That means that I need to use acrylic paint, but I still wanted that watery, translucent effect for this piece; I was pleased when I achieved that! Come see it live in La Conner this weekend!
