After living in my dining room for almost 3 years, Big Red found a new home in Oregon today! First time my art has traveled to the West coast! 🥰

SOLD!! This giant, gorgeous piece has been living in my dining room until it finds its new home. Honestly, it would be hard to part with it, but I need to make room for more artwork. "Big Red" is on a 24x36" canvas and can be yours for $200, plus S&H (unless local pick up).

Looking for thoughts. I jumped out of my comfort zone of abstract for a sweet little girl who loves rainbows and painted this for her. I felt like I was done (photo #1) until some half lighting made me question my decision (photo #2). Personally, I think the second photo looks more realistic, as many times, rainbows cast with a darker sky above it (as I've noticed from looking at dozens of rainbow photos online). But I'm wondering (since this is for a 6 year old) if I should leave it bright and blue, as is. What do you think?

Tried something different. Definitely want to go a bit brighter with the paints on the outer shell, but kinda digging this one. (**Egg shell is on a mirror so you can see inside and out.)
