Belles & Chimes is an international network of women’s pinball leagues started in 2013. Northampton Belles & Chimes is an inclusive organization that welcomes trans women, cis women, and nonbinary people comfortable in a women-centered space. Our mission is to provide a fun, social environment for women to play pinball together.

At a recent multi-day pinball tournament in North Carolina, a transgender player was removed from a bathroom by a Flippers Arcade staff member, leading many trans and q***r players to withdraw from the OBX Flippers 2025 event. More details are available on Kineticist and the IFPA website.

Northampton Belles and Chimes reaffirms that pinball is for everyone, and all players should feel safe at both open and women's events. We love our q***r and trans belles and wouldn't be here without them. If you believe the IFPA should retroactively desanction the OBX Flippers 2025 event due to gender-based exclusion, you can sign the petition here.
