**If you do not have your car registered by the time the draw closes at the scheduled time, you will automatically start the tail of a heat. Calling/texting track staff to see if they will draw for you is not an option. If you are going to be late, make sure you have a designated person that is there register your car prior to the close of driver registration. This includes $5 transponder rental fee and drivers license to be held until end of night when transponder is turned in.**

Not a post the 9B team is happy to make, but here goes:

Due to unforeseen motor issues, we will not be returning to race for the foreseeable future.

We are uncertain if issues arose prior to practice or on practice day, but we were hoping it was not as serious as it, unfortunately, is.

Please know we are working hard to earn the extra funds it will take to fix this.

Please keep our sponsor, but more importantly our friend, David Waggoner in your prayers. He’s currently dealing with some medical issues & has been in the hospital since Tuesday.

Please pray the doctors figure things out & get his health under control. Pray for his kids who miss him at home. Pray for his wife who is with him & I’m sure just as exhausted.

We truly wouldn’t be where we are without Davey’s help & continued friendship.

We love you! I promise I’ll be ready with some brownies when you break out of there!

Well, it is race day & after last week I wasn’t sure we’d be here, but here we are.

It also just occurred to me that I didn’t give a recap after last week’s shenanigans.

Car looked great in hot laps. Driver pulled a good pull so he would start outside the front row of his heat.

Two cars jumped the start of the heat & for whatever reason, we didn’t call that start bad, they just let it go. Kevin got shuffled to the back but was making ground.

He finished 6th. He came flying in the pits, giving the signal that his car was hot. So, I ran around getting the hood off & pouring water & our nephew jumped in to help.

After looking the car over, the roller rocker came off and we decided to load up & head home.

Kevin & I had to push the car into the garage because we couldn’t start it. We were not sure if there was any further damage.

After his friend David Waggoner came to help, they discovered that was the only issue so they fixed it & that’s how we’re able to be here tonight!
