If you haven't been here yet, it is the coolest new bar. Genesee Cream Ale on tap, free pool, cheap cocktails. It looks like the bar from Mean Streets. I've been playing and DJing and playing there on Fridays, but I'm trying something new. Just danceable music, like it used to be. 80's underground, Soul, Funk, Hip-Hop, Glam, Girl Groups, British Invasion, you know....dance music. I'll take your requests. Come on out and support if you can. You wont regret it. Promise.

Congratulation to James Keyes on this excellent article in Worcester Magazine. This album is an incredible example of an amalgamation of his personal influences, and is a "must listen to" from start to finish. James is an incredible musician, and we hit it off instantly, having similar backgrounds in musical styles. It was an honor and a pleasure to work on this album with him. The album is available for streaming and download everywhere, so please give it a listen.

Emma Young joined Mobile Mic this summer, first sitting in on sessions, now working as a marketing and production assistant. She is a recent graduate of Columbia College Chicago. Some of her recent music work includes winning the Manifest 2020 song competition with her self-produced track “Rise”, as well as being a featured artists on two Chicago charity compilation albums. She’s excited to deepen her production work and continue meeting Mobile Mic artists!

Spike Katz has been working in the music industry for 35years as a commercial recording artist and performer. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, with a certificate in music production and technology, his work can be heard on ads for Chase Bank, Tropicana, McDonalds, and more.
Also a renowned musician, Spike Katz has played and recorded with nationally recognized bands including The Racketeers, Hillbilly Hellcats, The Kings of Nuthin', and Shaun Young.
