Call for Art at North Port City Hall ---

North Port Art Center will be displaying another art show here in July, August, & September. We exhibit on all 3 floor lobbies, with 44 hanging spots. First come first served. The guidelines: Limit up to 3 pieces, no larger than 36inches (high & wide), no glass or heavy pieces, must be wired & appropriate for public viewing. We encourage art that is for sale, as that helps with fundraising. As usual; 70% to artists and 30% to NPAC. Please let me know ASAP if you want to exhibit, by filling out the attached form and emailing it back to me, as I need to make the gallery tags prior to hanging. City Hall has not given us the hanging date yet, so I'll update you when we know. And we'll also plan a reception there. You do not need to be a member of NPAC.

Something special is happening at the intersection of perspective and art. ๐ŸŽจ

We are proud to feature six remaining pieces from the "Middle Earth" watercolor series by Phillip Moore. As a color-blind veteran, Phillip took on a fascinating technical challenge with this project: to paint the landscapes of Middle Earth, he created this entire 10-piece series under constant ultraviolet light, utilizing specialized Paul Rubens UV watercolors.

The result is a collection of high-contrast, glowing works that bridge the gap between traditional technique and a unique, personal way of seeing the world. From the quiet hills of The Shire to the intensity of Mount Doom, each piece is a testament to the "Keep the Magic Alive" philosophy.

These final works are professionally matted, sleeved, and ready to find their new home.

๐Ÿง™ Featured in this series:

5x7 Original Watercolors: $55

Panoramic Rivendell Piece: $110

Help us find the final homes for these unique creations. DM us to claim a piece or to see the remaining collection. ๐Ÿ’€
