I believe this was over a year ago when I built this. Or should I say brought it back to life. It was going to be thrown away. But not everything is broken and done for if you truly want to bring it back to life. Sure this thing tore my bicep, put me out of work for 3 months, and caused me to miss diving in one of the most gorgeous places ever. But it was all for a reason. Looking back at this table, it’s still not perfect, but I still love it nonetheless. It was so fun being able to make it while people were there eating and watching.

So there I was making some coffee so I can go to sleep and it had me thinking as I was looking at my first ever glass etching I did. I used an actual Dremel to etch the glass of this mason jar with a handle. Then I looked at Mrs. Potts(now Mrs. Coffee Potts) and that had me thinking of the first time I ever helped a Marine buddy make a Beauty and the Beast vanity. Then I saw other glass etchings I did over the years. It’s wild to look back and see how far I’ve really come. I know it’s hard to tell yourself at times, but I’m actually kind of proud of how much I’ve learned over the years. I never want it to end. I pray it never does! I look forward to many more years.

Of all the things I’ve ever been asked to repair and make better, these are by far the weirdest and coolest, though it appears I may have my work cut out for me! 😆 Gonna keep the paint theme the same for the dude with the candy skull painted face. Needing ideas for the guitar guy. Wanting to do a more stand out guitar and thinking maybe themed similar to the guitar in the movie Coco, which is a shiny white and gold and black trim. Not wanting it to blend with the shirt, so I was thinking reverse the coloring and maybe make his shirt red? Thoughts? Obviously I plan on making him a new hand as well as the other guy.

I am thoroughly wiped out today! As some of you know, woodworking and other projects are not the only thing I do. I also work with one of my brothers installing permanent exterior LED lighting for both residential and commercial with his company, MB Premier Lighting here in Myrtle Beach, SC. As of right now, we are the only JellyFish Lighting authorized dealer and certified installation team for all of SC.

After tearing my left bicep a few months ago, it’s taken some time to get my strength back and first priority was getting caught up on some of the projects and ensuring my arm was strong enough to lift materials and get back on ladders and roofs. The sun has been brutal these last few days as we’ve been working on a house that is just about finished with being built, after pre-wiring it months ago.

I wanted to share with y’all some of the houses we’ve done in our last year that we’ve been in business. If you would like a quote for lighting and live in SC or within a couple hour ride to the north east in NC, feel free to call or message us. Cutom framing for 2 different paintings that were done by local artist, Asher Cheyenne Robinson. Jellyfish painting was done in maple ambrosia, while the other painting in a painted cove style trim. These were done a while ago and just getting around to posting the photos. If you are in the area and wanted to check out some of Asher’s artwork, he can be found at the Marshwalk in Murrells Inlet.

Was able to get the floating U-shaped desk installed. Still waiting to see how we are wanting the cabinetry placement to fit under the desk. Last thing will drilling holes for computer and power cords.

Now that’s a big custom U-shaped floating desk! All loaded up and ready to go install on this beautiful Sunday afternoon! Yes I could be doing other things on the weekend, but when it comes to doctors offices, especially when it comes to women’s care, it’s best for me to avoid making a bunch of noise and being messy while they are being seen during the week days. That and you can sing out loud with no one having to cover their ears. It’s the little things in life!
