The establishment was called the Northern Club. Stoker was often written about in the newspapers. At that time, she was quite a famous person. People spoke of her as a woman of great promise and a good mother. A casino was opened in her name. At the time, there were only five games available in Las Vegas: stadium poker, bridge, 500, drop poker, and lowball poker.
