After a long day at IE State yesterday, our English Valleys students brought home some fantastic results! I am so proud of the hard work, courage, and talent all of these students showed.

🎤State Individual Speech – We’re Off! 🎤

Today is State Individual Speech at Vinton-Shellsburg!

Our school codes are 405 and 686.

📢 Spectator Information:
• There is a $5 admission fee at the door for those attending as spectators, per Iowa High School Speech Association guidelines.
• Please DO NOT wear our school colors or clothing that references our school name or mascot.
• Performance times are approximate, so it’s a good idea to arrive at least 20 minutes early.
• Centers 18 and up will be performing at the middle school.

English Valleys Drama will present Game of Tiarias, a night sure to be filled with fun, laughs, and great entertainment as our talented students take the stage.

Make it a full evening out by coming early, on March 20, for the EV FFA Pulled Pork Supper. Great food, a great show, and a great way to support our students and community. We hope to see you there! 🍽️👏

Our school codes are 271 and 326

Spectators should NOT wear our school colors or clothing that refers to our school name or mascot. And there is a $5 entrance fee.

As per Iowa High School Speech Association guidelines, there will be an admission charge at the door for those planning to attend the speech contest as spectators.

If you plan on attending, please note that performance times are approximate. It is a good idea to arrive at least 20 minutes in advance.

🎤 EV Speech Shines at Large Group State! 🎤

The EV Speech Team had a fantastic day at Large Group State at Clear Creek Amana! 🌟 We had 5 groups qualify for State, and 4 were able to perform today!
