Salmonfest has become widely recognized both nationally and within the state as the most compelling and dynamic event in Alaska. Every year thousands of people turn the Kenai Peninsula village of Ninilchik into a city as families and friends fill the region with encampments full of music, food, fish and love. Over the three day weekend many of Alaska’s top food, crafts, art and brews are available throughout the grounds and a family friendly atmosphere, including a daily children’s program is part of the four stage extravaganza that includes over 60 acts. Salmonfest emphasizes and celebrates the connection all Alaskans have to the fish and waters that provide this magnificent resource. We invite everyone from all over the state, country and world, to come together for Salmonfest weekend to find camaraderie in the issues that unite us and put aside the things that divide us. Together let’s continue to move forward and celebrate wild Alaska in a weekend of Fish, Love and Music! Salmonfest is supported by and benefits ARCHES Alaska, Cook Inketkeeper and The Kachemak Bay Conservation Society. CIK & KBCS are longstanding Homer-based non profit organization that seek to educate the public, and both protect and promote Alaska’s fish-filled waters.

As we fondly reflect back on Salmonfest 15 and marvelous weekend that was everything we hoped for and more, we have already begun planning Salmonfest 2027! We always welcome your suggestions, tag your favorite artist and start manifesting now!

On another note we have received numerous requests for merch and we do have an online store up and running now. While we don't have a full inventory of festival merchandise, we do have quite a few things in various sizes. Given the ever growing and legitimate concern about the trawling issue, we are going to donate all our September proceeds on merch sales to those organizations primarily focused on trawling.

Our friends at Sacred Acre have helped put a spotlight on this wasteful and destructive practice and we're proud to offer our support in this ongoing campaign. On that note remember Sacred Acre is THIS weekend Sept. 11-13! Weather looks good and the lineup is amazing!

Now that we’ve had a moment to recover and reflect on that weekend of splendor and joy, we want to once again extend our deepest and humblest gratitude for all the incredible photos, testimonials, stories and expressions of appreciation we’ve seen and received.

At the risk of repeating ourselves, it bears repeating: we have built this dream together.

You’ve believed in what we’re doing. You’ve quite literally bought into the vision that, together, we can make that first weekend in August something magical, musical, memorable...and somehow so much more.

For many of us, these few days seem to renew something that can sometimes feel as though it’s slipping away from our society: trust, hope, camaraderie, connection, love and the belief that experiences still exist that can transcend our daily struggles, warm our hearts, lift our sometimes-weary spirits and remind us of what’s possible when we come together. It takes all of us to make that happen. Every ticket purchased, every volunteer shift, every performance, every conversation and every act of support has helped build this incredible gathering. Thank you for being part of the story. Everyone deserves recognition for the role you play in making Salmonfest something far greater than any one of us. When we all come together, what we create is so much more than the sum of its parts.

We love you. We thank you. And with your continued support and belief, we promise to keep working tirelessly to create a weekend that sends us all back into the world with a little more buoyancy, a little more hope, and enough joy in our hearts to carry us through the days that can sometimes feel mundane, difficult, or overwhelming. Until we gather again, hold on to that feeling.

We built it together. And together, we’ll keep it going.

We are having a legendary time. We made a new friend Jim Maloney at Salmonfest and he took us to the spot. We all limited out on salmon, I caught my first Dolly Varden, and Breezy Peyton caught the biggest rainbow trout any of us had ever seen. We still have our show Wed, 8/5 Levitt AMP Soldotna Music Series , Fri. & Sat. Aug. 7th and 8th at Creekbend & Coldwater in Hope, AK.

There are still songs to sing and more fish to catch before we head back to the lower 48 for shows in Colorado and New Mexico!

Saturday is SOLD OUT

People from every corner of Alaska, all 49 other states, and 31 countries have made their way to Ninilchik for Salmonfest's 15th Anniversary. Because of the incredible response, Saturday is now completely sold out, including all gate tickets.

This wasn't an easy decision but one we've made to honor our commitment to make Salmonfest better, not bigger and to provide the best possible experience for everyone already here.

There are still a limited number of Sunday tickets available. If you'd like to join us for the final day of Salmonfest 2026, we encourage you to arrive early tomorrow.
