Hello Niles!!!!… today please Welcome an Italian Baker with tradition and talent! A well known Family here in Niles and surrounding areas! We are so fortunate to have her Marvelous baking here at our Niles Artisan Farmer’s Market!! Yes… those are macaroons!!….in her words: Hi! My name is Samantha Ragozine Dull. I am a Pastry Chef born and raised in Niles! I learned how to bake all kinds of Italian treats and goodies from my Nonna Lucille Ragozine-who took sharing her Baked Goods as a way to share our Love and Family History. I am so excited to share it with everyone this year at the Market! I will have a variety of Biscotti, Gennettes, Taralli, Pizzelles and Clothespins along with other Sweet Surprises!……❤️……. So very talented and just what is needed for your special occasions !!!!… it will be so exciting to see what Melissa Kelecava designs each week!.. Blissful Bites by Melissa will create just what you need to make your special occasion a step above all others with her homemade decorated sugar cookies!!❤️… in her own words: I’ve been a Cookier for about 3 years. What started as a way to make gifts for Family and Friends has now turned into a small business! I do truly love making cookies, and creating something that perfectly matches people’s special occasions. I’m married, with two beautiful Daughters and we live in Lordstown…. By the way..I use my Mom’s special homemade cookie recipe that I enjoyed eating as a child… but now they are just a little bit fancier!🙂……. Well.. Please consider doing the following as you’re out and about to help before the temperatures drop.
💨 Look in your backyard, parks, or anywhere with tall trees for fallen squirrel babies. Look for signs of mother squirrels acting frantic in trees or on the ground, as this could be a sign of offspring or nests affected by wind. Listen for loud chirping noises, as babies make these noises when in distress.
💨 Squirrels build multiple nests, so mom can move the babies if one is damaged. Learn how to attempt a reunite here: https://www.ohiowildlifecenter.org/found-an-animal/
💨 If you need assistance or advice, please call our InfoLine or message the Ohio Wildlife Center Rescue and Response Team directly for assistance. Please, do not bring any babies to our wildlife hospital until we have spoken to you because often we can help mom get the babies moved!

Today we Feature a very talented Baker from McDonald, Ohio…. We welcome Amanda Dougherty.. new addition to our Niles Artisan Farmers Market…. Baking is a delicious Art form and she definitely has it!….. in her words:… Hi! I am Amanda Dougherty. I am a Chef who loves to bake more than anything. I have had the opportunity to live in the Caribbean and work at some amazing Restaurants. I just moved back to Ohio and would love to share my Baked Goods with YOU. Some of my favorite things to make are Salted Pretzel Cinnamon Rolls, Double Chocolate Biscotti,Fococcia Bread, Tiramisu….. who am I kidding, I love making it ALL!!!! I’m planning on having a wide selection at the Niles Artisan Farmers Market but if there is something you are looking for, JUST ASK! Looking forward to seeing you ALL there!……. I’ve always enjoyed crafting and sewing and it was a dream of mine to someday have a small business with my creations. A good friend last Fall encouraged me to begin my dream. Some of many items I craft are door hangers, porch signs, home decor, signs and table runners. I can do customized orders and if you find something you like, I can do my best to recreate it for you. Today we introduce SIMPLE SOAPS!… from Niles…!!!!🙂Welcome back to the Market❤️…. In her own words: Hi… I’m Natalie Anne Manda. I sell cold process soaps, headbands, bath bombs and more with my business SIMPLE SOAPS. I started selling soap as a way to make extra money for text books while attending school. I love everything about soap making ( seeing how each bar looks at the end of the process is my favorite part!) I also enjoy being able to share my products with everyone possible. In my own experience, cold process soap is much more moisturizing than the average store bought type. I also try to make sure my soaps are made with fun scents!…. Today we welcome Herbivore 440 from Ashtabula with their delicious cookies and special dog treats to our Market! Here is their story: In the Summer of 2019, James Fultz, Herbivore 440’s owner, was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and had an A1C of 8.8. After reading a book about plant-based eating.. called Mastering Diabetes, James decided to become plant-based. The biggest problem for James was finding good plant-based sweets. After developing a base recipe, James’s Wife Amanda…took over the baking and they began giving cookies to friends and relatives. Receiving great feedback, the idea to produce and sell the cookies was born! During July 2021, they began selling their product at Markets and Coffee Shops throughout Lake and Ashtabula Counties. They also have developed delicious dog treats in which 20% of the sales goes directly to their local shelter.
