Thank you to everyone who made their inaugural event such a success!!!

To all participants in the Newville Economic Development Authority Fountain Festival 5K on June 20th, THANK YOU for making it such a success!
It was a beautiful day for the 103 runner and walkers. 25 Sponsors supported the event along with many other local business’ donating door prizes.
Due to some last minute equipment glitches, we were unable to utilize chip timing for upload to runsignup. Complete race results were sent out today via email to all participants who signed up through runsignup. Thank you to so many for all of your positive feedback. We are looking forward to 2027, and with your help and feedback, we hope to make it an even better event.

🎉💦 That’s a Wrap on Fountain Festival 2026! 💦🎉

What an incredible weekend for our community! From start to finish, we were blessed with beautiful weather, amazing crowds, and a hometown spirit that truly made this year’s Fountain Festival one to remember as we joined in celebrating America250 and our nation’s 250th anniversary.

Over the past two days, visitors enjoyed our outstanding food vendors 🍔🌮🍦, talented craft vendors 🎨🛍️, live music 🎶, children’s activities 🚜🎈, a 5K race, a tractor show, the Stars & Stripes Parade 🇺🇸, and an unforgettable fireworks display 🎆 that lit up the Newville sky.

None of this would have been possible without the dedication and hard work of the officers and volunteer members of the Newville Fountain Festival Foundation. For months, these volunteers worked behind the scenes planning, organizing, fundraising, coordinating vendors, arranging entertainment, and handling countless details to ensure a successful event. Their commitment to our community is truly appreciated, and we thank each and every one of them for their time and dedication. ❤️

The feedback we’ve received from both vendors and attendees has been overwhelmingly positive. We heard so many compliments about the organization, activities, entertainment, friendly atmosphere, and the pride our community showed throughout the weekend.

As we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary and another successful Fountain Festival, we’re already looking ahead to next year!

🎉🤠 What a night in Newville! 🤠🎉

Last night’s Stars & Stripes Parade wrapped up in the best way possible—with an amazing street filled with line dancing sponsored by Stompin at the Bit! 🇺🇸✨

The street was absolutely full earlier in the evening with dancers of all ages learning steps, joining in, and celebrating together 💃🕺🎶

Even those who weren’t dancing had a great time watching, cheering, and enjoying the incredible community spirit all around the fountain area ❤️🤍💙

✨ The video we are sharing was taken later in the night, right before our fireworks display, and features a few of our young dancers enjoying the community spirit and fun that filled the evening.

It was the perfect way to celebrate together as part of our America250 festivities—fun, patriotic, and full of hometown pride! 🇺🇸🎆

What a memory to add to an already unforgettable festival weekend! 🌟

What an incredible start to the day! Our first-ever NEDA Fountain Festival 5K kicked off this morning with an amazing turnout of 103 runners and walkers hitting the course bright and early! 🎉👏

From competitive runners to families walking together, the energy, smiles, and community spirit are absolutely unforgettable. This is what Fountain Festival is all about—bringing people together to celebrate health, fun, and community pride 🇺🇸💙❤️

A huge THANK YOU to every participant, volunteer, and supporter who made this NEDA inaugural event such a success.

You aren’t just running a race… you’re helping make history in our little town! 🏅✨
