Real letters. Real lives. A new American musical story.

Join us at The Nixon Centre for the Arts for Letters From The Front, a powerful new musical inspired by the actual letters of American service members and their loved ones, spanning 250 years of American history, from the American Revolution to the Gulf War.

Composed by Patrick Zimmerli with a libretto by Mirabelle Ordinaire, this moving work brings these deeply personal words to life through four voices and piano, sharing stories of love, hope, faith, humor, sacrifice, and courage.

Created in honor of our veterans, active-duty service members, military families, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice, Letters From The Front reminds us that history is not just written on battlefields, but in the letters sent home and the lives forever changed.
