How the Abolitionist Tour Works

The Abolitionist Tour is a coalition-driven, multi-city music initiative designed to mobilize independent artists and communities in the fight against human trafficking. Participating artists, venues, and nonprofit partners collaborate in host cities across the United States to produce live events that raise awareness, educate audiences, and generate support for frontline anti-trafficking organizations.

The Abolitionist Tour 2027 will encompass and activate multiple cities and events nationally and will converge in Austin, TX during SXSW 2027. Tech issues with the radio station. It has slowed our progress but we should be ready to launch “Static in Stereo” (alt rock program) later this week. The music is good to go. Anyway we are still accepting submissions for all genres for all programs forthcoming on HeartstringsFM - Jeff

In 2011 I created the Abolitionist Tour to bring awareness to the issue of Human Trafficking. The tour was to Austin, TX (during SXSW ) Independent Bands from all around the country joined us. The general public did NOT believe us or support us. The media would not cover us and local law enforcement did not accept our invitations to participate. I’m just wondering; does anyone believe us now? - Jeff
