Saison, the best known of old & rustic Belgian styles, is in our bones, and 9 years in we’ve almost lost count of the variations that our brewers have developed, from tart and barrel aged blends to heavily fruited and dry hopped to the Southern Alps of New Zealand and even a black malt version aged on white nectarines, known as Atmospheric. As a tribute to some Old World versions with ample malt character and earthy spice and subtle dryhop with noble varieties like Saaz and Hallertau Blanc, Sebastian is here to tell a simple story, one of pale Pilsner malts, restrained bitterness, and fermentation with our house Forager yeast, sourced from our own beehives and best known in our hoppy table beer Wild Queen. Available on draft now, and in 4-paks to go! We hope you enjoy this throwback farmhouse ale made for BBQ reveries and deep fireside conversation! As for the label? Well, the color scheme nods to more than one classic in our books!
