Every project has heroes. People who, without their efforts and contributions, the project quite literally could not happen.
On Step Kids those people have been Dolores Avery Pereira and Ty-Gabriel Jones, my producing partners.
Their belief in the project and support of the process led us to a successful Seed & Spark campaign (we met our goal of $4000 early this week!), Ty-Gabriel’s casting support secured us the most bad-ass group of dancers we could have assembled (from HUNDREDS of video submissions), and Dolores has been with the project from the very beginning. She even introduced me to my writing partner on Step Kids Postell Pringle.
I also must mention my family (The Robinsons, Bickels, Hamlins, and Cooks), and especially my husband Gordon Robinson, who lift me up and support me at home and in life.
Art is never created in a vacuum and
I count myself very lucky to have this team helping to shepherd Step Kids forward.
