Sangeeta Yesley
Producer & Director

Sangeeta is the founder and director of Creative Performances, a 501(C)3 approved non-profit organization. She curates several recurring dance programs, including Fast Forward, 8 in Show, HOT Dance, and an annual dance benefit 30-30-30. She also organizes the NYC Drawing the Dance Workshop, where visual artists draw moving dancers and oregniazes NY Artists Networking Events. She has curated, directed, and produced the StylePointe Fashion Show, a collaboration of fashion and dance, since 2015, during New York Fashion Week.

Sangeeta is also a board member of The Bessies and recently co-produced The 41st Bessies Award Ceremony for the 23-24 season and 24-25 season's nominated dance works.

Alongside her curatorial work, Sangeeta works as an independent actor in film and live theater.

Her overarching mission is to provide a platform for early- to mid-career artists in NYC, empowering them to thrive and progress in their creative journeys while exploring and experimenting with ideas that merge dance with other art forms.

Mariana Leung
Co-Curator and Sponsorship Coordinator

Mariana Leung is a fashion designer, writer, photographer and co-curator of StylePointe Nouvelle. Her multidisciplinary career spans fashion design, editorial and photography. A contributor to Threads Magazine and NY1, she has covered New York Fashion Week as both a journalist and photographer while working as a design consultant with leading fashion brands. Most recently, she appears as a runway photographer in The Devil Wears Prada 2. Her perspective as both a maker and storyteller informs her approach to StylePointe, exploring how fashion comes alive through movement, performance and collaboration.

Merlette was founded in 2016 by designer Marina Cortbawi, with a dedication to refining shape, texture and details into a sense of empowered femininity by creating garments that allow women to feel elegant and at ease.
