spit&vigor Theater of blood, sweat, tears, spit & vigor. We believe in theater as a vital artform that should be able to support its members.

We believe that actors are full collaborators and artists, and we aim to give a platform for actors to realize their full creative potential. It is a priority for us to compensate artists with whatever meager means we have available, and to use the full potential and talents each person working on projects within our company is willing and able to contribute. Creative, courageous work performed with heart is our main mission. Our work exemplifies total theatre, a life that informs art and art that deeply informs our lives. We strive to infuse our work with all of our joy, all our sorrow, every last ounce of empathy and all of our strength, every weakness and flaw, every terror and with all our exuberance; our mission is to perform work that involves blood, sweat, tears, spit & vigor.

Almost finished with gowns for sisters Annette and Mizka, in Ectoplasm.
Coming up and selling out! First weekend is sold out and a few shows including some of the last, Halloween weekend. Seating is very limited!

One gown is made from a late 80s/early 90s prom dress with ribbon applied to it, I believe I'll also add a lace little shoulder shrug, and the other is an early 2000s gown with a sequined like, auntie-on-NewYearsEve type of top cut up and flipped upside down to create the beaded appliquee. 🤣 both worn with opera gloves and hair gems bien sûr. Unedited and unsteamed!
