Formed in the fall of 2023 at The Juilliard School, the Prometheus Quartet is a New York City-based string quartet inspired by the myth of Prometheus, striving to bring the gift of music to others.

We are beyond grateful for an unforgettable four weeks at !🌊☀ 🎶Huge shout out to the legendary — four deeply inspiring musicians and mentors who have shaped our artistry with their joy, wisdom and generosity. And to all the amazing musician friends we’ve met along the way– we miss you already!

It was also such a privilege to collaborate with the brilliant teaching artists , , and on Ravel’s Trois poèmes de Mallarmé, as well as with composer percussionist on his electrifying works In Exchange and Aka.

Santa Barbara’s sunshine and its incredibly warm community has been a great place to dive deeper into our passion. Many thanks to MAW's Compeer Program for connecting us with true music lovers who have become meaningful friends.

And the best part - we’re coming back this October with some more chamber music! Stay tuned for concert dates and program - we can’t wait to share more with you!
