Hope in Hopeless Times Series

“...There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you
must endure many trials for a little while. These
trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though
your faith is far more precious than mere gold.
So when your faith remains strong through many
trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and
honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed
to the whole world.”
1 Peter 1:6-7 (NLT)

We have been quiet for most of the duration of the pandemic. But director Boróka Nagy is prepping for a new season of dance in 2022! Stay tuned for company auditions and new moving and grooving soon! We can’t wait!

During the pandemic, we went to mainly gig based occasional performances. Being a dance company that focuses on interactive work, digital work did not inspire us in ways it has many other amazing artists. In the meantime, Boróka harbored her Pilates studio , and became the director of The Academy of Dance in Santa Ana where she is facilitating growth for the next generation of dancers.

We are eager to get back in the studio and back in performance spaces. Stay tuned with upcoming events, workshops, performances, auditions, and more!

Much love from our Re:borN Family to yours! 🙏❤️

Register Now, follow link in bio. Fall 2021 workshop series at The Academy of dance.

Harry Weston, aka Fullout, grew up in Santa Cruz, California, surrounded by West African dance and drumming, his first artistic inspirations. He fell in love with Hip Hop culture at age 15, changing his life and setting him on a path of creativity, community engagement, teaching and mentorship. At the age of 18, Harry moved to Los Angeles to study dance at UCLA. A year later, in 2009, he was asked to join Versa-Style Dance Company, became a Teaching Artist for The Flourish Foundation, and became program counselor for the UCLA Summer Dance Theater Intensive. After graduating from UCLA with a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in World Arts and Cultures/Dance and a Minor in Civic Engagement, today Harry is still involved in all three entities. He is a Principal Dancer and the Partnerships Manager for Versa-Style Dance Company, Program Supervisor for Versa-Style: Performance • Education • Community (formerly known as The Flourish Foundation), and Director of the UCLA Hip Hop/Street Dance Summer Intensive (formerly known as the UCLA Summer Dance Theater Intensive). He remains humbled and grateful for the experiences and opportunities Hip Hop and street dance culture have provided him, and pays respect and homage to all the dancers and culture creators from the communities of color who created the dance and music he loves so much.
