🌟 Calling all local talent! 🌟

The 2nd Annual North Country Talent Show is officially accepting applicants! Whether you sing, dance, juggle, or have a completely unique skill, we want to see what you can do.

​🗓️ Date: August 20th
📍 Location: Lewis County Theater
👥 Who: Any and all ages are welcome!

We'd like to wish Wyatt Wagner the happiest of birthdays today. Wyatt does so much for our wonderful community with his Youth Of Lewis County organization, the Lewis County Renaissance , and this year with our very own talent show. I (Tom) am really hoping that we get a comedian or 2 this year. I'm also hoping that we can bump up the number of acts by 3, bringing the number to 13 total competitors. I am interested getting people from a wider radius as well, with Lewis, Jefferson, Oneida and St. Lawrence counties all on the table for being accepted.
There may end up being tryouts, but this is dependent on what the organizers think and how much interest we get for Year #2.
Tanya MaryRose, Wyatt Wagner and myself are very excited to bring you the best family friendly show possible.

Good day, one and all, I hope that you're having a wonderful Sunday afternoon. I just wanted to pop in and reiterate something that I said into the microphone at our inaugural event.
I (Tom) started this as an escape from the every day things that are constantly working to divide us from one another.
I have my opinions on politics, religion, war, etc etc but the North Country Talent Show isn't the place for me to inject my thoughts. The talent show is a place for all of us to come together to enjoy something as a community, without the stressors of the outside world being brought into to it.
So with that, we are not accepting things that have to do with politics (that goes for either and any side), religion, or anything that creates a misunderstanding that leads to hateful feelings. This show is about love for everyone, regardless of personal feelings.
I started this for all of us, and while I love that people wanna get out there and put their very valid ideas into their performances, I also don't wanna ostracize those that may not agree with those opinions.
This is one event where all are welcomed, but please leave your politics at home; this goes for both the performers and those in attendance.

We've been talking with Wyatt of Youth Of Lewis County and the Lewis County Renaissance. We are going to be working hand in hand to bring you all the very best talent show imaginable. We're very proud to be working alongside a group of people that want what we want ... to give the community more options than just the oversaturated bar scene in our little town of Lowville.
