Together we create art -- a discipline which opens an outlet for self-expression and positive energy, building our capacity to be who we truly are.. The mission of Project Souldiers is to encourage people in any kind of need to express themselves through art. Although we can not necessarily eliminate suffering, we can give a voice to it, find a form in which it can be released. Our street sessions consist of art making over coffee or a meal, in a safe, non-judgmental zone to promote personal growth and healing. As Aristotle so eloquently said; "The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance." -- We want to live by that. In todays society we tend to define people by what they have or do not have, this is something we strive to change. We believe that feeding the hungry souls in this world will begin to make it a better place.
