It's been a rough week. First, Bruce was in the hospital for some unscheduled repairs to his plumbing works. Monday, I had a scheduled replacement of my heart valve. Of course, there were complications, so the surgery ran long. I got home and had to return to the hospital because the heart valve replacement had brought on a stroke! Lost my ability to type some speech, so back to the ER for a godawful 24 hours of waiting and testing and not getting admitted. So I spent the (?) better part of 22 hours lying in a temporary bed, near the freezing entrance. But finally home and resting and sleeping and trying to recover my ability to string words together ... both spoken and written. Cheers!
