In January 2016, police in Lima, Ohio, were looking for Donald “Chip” Pugh, 45, because he had failed to appear in court for a DUI charge. As part of the search, police posted his mugshot on Facebook.

Pugh saw the photo and was not happy with how he looked. Instead of ignoring it, he sent the police another photo of himself. In the new picture, Pugh was wearing sunglasses and a sport coat while sitting inside a car.

Along with the photo, he sent police a message saying, “Here is a better photo that one is terrible.”

Lima police found his request amusing and decided to share the new photo on Facebook. They wrote, “We thank him for being helpful, but now we would appreciate it if he would come speak to us at the LPD about his charges.”

The unusual post quickly went viral and received attention across the country. Many people shared the story online because of Pugh’s unusual attempt to improve his mugshot.

A few days later, Pugh was arrested outside a public library in Century, Florida, after police received a tip about his location. Police later credited “the power of social media” for helping them find him.

In an emotional interview with *People* magazine in August 2024, Colin Farrell spoke publicly for the first time about his eldest son, James, whom he shares with Kim Bordenave.

James was diagnosed with Angelman syndrome when he was only two and a half years old. It is a rare neurogenetic condition that can affect development, movement, and communication. Some people with the condition are unable to speak.

Farrell spoke about his son with deep love and shared a simple wish for his future. He said, **“I want the world to be kind to James. I want the world to treat him with kindness and respect.”**

During the interview, Farrell also announced the creation of the Colin Farrell Foundation. The organization was created to support adults with intellectual disabilities, especially those who can lose important services after they turn 21.

Farrell has also openly discussed his worries about James’s future. He has wondered what life will be like for his son when he and Kim are no longer there to care for him.

Even while facing these personal concerns, Farrell has continued working as an actor. He appeared in *The Batman* and *The Penguin* while remaining active in Hollywood.

Instead of keeping his family’s challenges private, Farrell has used his public platform to raise awareness. Through his words and foundation, he hopes to encourage greater kindness, respect, and support for people with intellectual disabilities and the families who care for them.

His message is simple but powerful: people like James deserve understanding, dignity, and kindness from the world around them.

Tom Holland shared a simple message about dealing with people who have a problem with him during a conversation with podcaster Jay Shetty.

During the interview, Holland said, “If you have a problem with me, text me, and if you don't have my number, you don't know me well enough to have a problem with me.”

Shetty immediately liked the line and replied, “That is so good.”

Holland then explained where he believed the quote came from. He said he thought the words were originally from actor Christian Bale, although he admitted he was not completely sure that Bale had actually said them.

Because of this, the quote was not originally presented by Holland as his own personal saying. He was sharing a line he believed came from someone else.

However, when the clip later spread online, it was sometimes presented as "Tom Holland on handling negativity,” which could make it appear that Holland himself had created or personally followed the quote.

The original interview happened nearly three years before the clip became a major meme trend. In June 2026, the short moment began circulating widely online, with people sharing Holland’s response as advice about dealing with criticism and negative opinions.

The line became popular because of its simple message: if someone truly knows you well enough to have a problem with you, they should already have a way to contact you directly.

Holland’s exact words were what caught people’s attention, but the context is important. He did say the line on camera, while also making clear that he believed the quote came from Christian Bale.

The viral trend therefore turned a short comment from an older interview into a widely shared meme in 2026..

What if you had to climb one of the world’s highest mountains using mostly your hands?

Spencer West, a Canadian motivational speaker and activist, achieved something extraordinary in June 2012 when he reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, standing 5,895 metres above sea level.

Spencer lost both of his legs as a child because of a rare genetic condition called sacral agenesis. During the seven-day trek, he completed around 80% of the journey on his hands, using custom-padded gloves to protect them as he moved across the challenging terrain.

The climb was far from easy. Some sections had severe terrain, heavy snow and high-altitude conditions, making them difficult to cross independently. During those parts, Spencer was carried by porters or used a specially designed wheelchair with help from his friends David Johnson and Alex Meers.

What makes Spencer’s Mount Kilimanjaro climb even more meaningful is that it was not only a personal achievement. He used the challenge to raise money and awareness for clean water initiatives.

His journey raised more than $500,000 for clean water initiatives. Instead of allowing physical limitations to define what he could achieve, Spencer turned his determination into an inspiring mountain-climbing story that continues to motivate people around the world.

On September 11, 2001, Seth MacFarlane, the creator of Family Guy, was 27 years old and booked on American Airlines Flight 11 from Boston to Los Angeles.

MacFarlane had been out the night before and was tired when he arrived at the airport. His travel agent had also given him the wrong departure time, telling him that his flight would leave at 8:15 a.m. instead of the actual 7:45 a.m. departure.

Because of the wrong information and his late arrival, MacFarlane reached the gate about 10 minutes too late. He missed the flight and booked the next available one.

After that, he went to the airport lounge and fell asleep. When he woke up, there was a lot of confusion and activity around the airport. He soon learned that the plane he had missed had been hijacked.

Flight 11 later crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center. Everyone on board was killed.

MacFarlane has spoken about the experience and said he does not see it as fate. Instead, he considers it a very fortunate coincidence that he arrived too late for the flight.

He was not the only celebrity who had a close call that day. Actor Mark Wahlberg was also booked on Flight 11. However, he changed his plans at the last minute and decided to travel by chartered jet to a film festival in Toronto instead.

Both MacFarlane and Wahlberg were supposed to be on Flight 11 but ended up missing the tragic flight..

❤️ SELF-RESPECT ATTRACTS BETTER RELATIONSHIPS

Want better relationships? Start with the way you treat yourself.

First, know your boundaries.
Self-respect means knowing what you’re comfortable with and communicating it clearly. You don’t have to accept everything just to keep someone around.

Second, stop begging for basic effort.
You shouldn’t have to constantly chase someone for attention, honesty, affection or respect.

Third, don’t lose yourself to keep someone.
A healthy relationship shouldn’t require you to abandon your values, goals, friendships or identity.

Fourth, don’t tolerate repeated disrespect.
Everyone makes mistakes. But repeatedly accepting the same hurtful behaviour can create an unhealthy pattern.

And finally, choose people who value you.
When you respect yourself, you’re more likely to recognise when someone genuinely cares about you — and when someone simply wants access to you.

Self-respect doesn’t mean thinking you’re better than everyone else.

It means knowing your worth and refusing to stay where you’re consistently treated without dignity.

Remember:

The right people won’t require you to destroy yourself just to prove that you love them.

💬 What is one relationship boundary you will never compromise again?

Rene Lima-Marin received a 98-year prison sentence in Colorado after being convicted in two armed robberies. But because of a clerical error, he was released in 2008 after serving about eight years..

For nearly six years, he rebuilt his life. He worked, married, raised a family, attended church, and completed parole without committing another crime.

Then, in 2014, authorities discovered the mistake and sent him back to prison.

His story eventually took another turn. In 2017, a judge ordered his release, and Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper later granted him clemency. His case became a remarkable story of rehabilitation and second chances.
