What does home look like from where you stand?

Postcards from Home is an international open call for artwork inspired by the places artists know most intimately. That might be the street you walk every day, the landscape you grew up around, a familiar building, a neighborhood gathering place, or a memory connected to somewhere that still feels like home.

Artwork can be literal or abstract, and all subjects, styles, and mediums are welcome. Selected work may also be considered for Artrepreneur’s Commercial Ready program and presented to ATP.art’s commercial clients for future placement opportunities.

Jersey City has a new landmark.

Emilio Florentine drove past this wall for years wanting it. We brought it to him.

Then he sat down with the residents at Montgomery Gateway and listened.

“In the Wind.” Flowers mid-air, larimar beads running through them. Larimar comes from one mountain in the Dominican Republic and nowhere else.

Weeks on a lift, every color mixed by hand.

When it comes to color, opposites really do attract. 🎨

Our Opposites Attract open call is looking for artwork built on complementary colors, the pairs that sit directly across the color wheel and make each other louder. Blue and orange, red and green, yellow and violet. Bright and saturated or soft and muted, as long as those opposing colors drive the composition.

All subjects, styles, and mediums are welcome. This is a Commercial Ready call, which means selected work could be presented to ATP.art's commercial clients for placement in real spaces, from hospitality to corporate interiors.

From Artrepreneur to The Pierre Hotel.

Hilda Champion first shared her photography on Artrepreneur, where our curatorial team discovered her work and saw a natural fit for The Pierre in New York.

Now, Flores, a six-month exhibition of Hilda’s photography, is on view in the Two E Bar/Lounge and select lobby areas of the hotel.

The series begins with flowers submerged in water, where petals drift and pigment blooms around them. Some images remain clearly botanical, while others move toward something more abstract, almost cellular or cosmic.

We’re excited to see Hilda’s work become part of the experience at The Pierre.

Know an art student? Send this their way. 🎒

Artrepreneur's August open call, Roll Call: The Art of Emerging Talent, is open now, and it's exclusively for students currently enrolled in an art or design program.

With a new semester underway, we want to see what these students are working on, whether it's a piece from class, work from their own studio practice, or a new series they're just beginning. There's no required theme, style, or medium. Painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics, illustration, digital, fiber, installation, and everything in between is welcome.

If you know someone in art school who should be sharing their work with a wider audience, tag them or pass this along. A new semester is the perfect time to get their work in front of new eyes.

August is almost here, and the beach starts to feel like one last summer ritual.

In Resilience, Lorraine Frances-Rees captures three silhouetted figures standing together in the incoming surf. The water is rough, the light is dark, and the figures feel small against the movement around them. Still, they remain connected.

It’s a beach scene, but also a quiet study of strength, closeness, and holding on.

Now installed at Gallery 85: Purview.

In New York City, Purview brings together six contemporary artists whose work explores how perception is shaped through light, form, space, material, and narrative.

The exhibition takes its name from the idea of “purview,” or the range of what one is able to perceive or understand. Across the works, each artist offers a distinct point of view, inviting viewers to consider how we see, interpret, and move through the world around us.
