I LOVE this photo of "Randy" played by Austin Rapp. It encompasses all of his angst and inner frustration as well as his kind and emotional demeanor. He is so complex and at every rehearsal, Austin finds deeper and deeper levels to play. Such a pleasure to work with him, Ivan Rivas and Brandon Koen. The second shot is of me, Brooke Marie Procida, portraying Marina- who has a really hard time showing emotion. But when she does...it looks like this. Great rehearsal today for GOING DOWN.. Digging deep into the characters of Randy (Austin Rapp), a guilt laden rockstar hiding out from the world in a New York City penthouse and Marina (Brooke Marie Procida), a stressed out personal assistant: unpredictable and ready to snap at any moment. Trapped in an elevator , the very best and absolute worst are brought out of these two as they drop bit by bit, floor by floor desperately trying to cling to their sh*tty realities and knowing the world will never be the same if they make it out alive. Directed by Ivan Rivas. Assisted by Jahnavi Alyssa and Brandon Koen
