This brilliant chandelier is still available at BALL HILL The Arcade. She wants to light your home and your life! Come into our galerie for more details!

Aerin BELLVALE Large Ring Chandelier

Inspired by the sparkling droplets of an Italian Moderne chandelier from the 1960s, the Bellvale has been simplified, with layered orbs styled around a circular frame, giving it a bold, contemporary feel. Perfect for larger spaces, this ceiling light adds a radiant focal point and a sense of occasion in a dining room or living room. It also crosses the divide between traditional and contemporary design, and works equally well in either style of interior.

25-years ago. New York City. It is early morning. I am in my Manhattan apartment in The Heights. Chris is in his showroom in Chelsea. I am watching the Today Show. Chris is starting his day of business.

The first plane flies into Tower #1.

A news break interrupts my television program. A co-worker arrives and tells Chris the World Trade Center is on fire. I sit glued to the news. Chris walks to 5th Avenue to see the building on fire.

A second plane flies into Tower #2.

Time halts. Breath stops. Disbelief.

Tower #1 falls to the ground … followed by Tower #2. I watch aghast from my bedroom. Chris is engulfed by the emotional wave of the unimaginable.

Life in New York City and America is altered forever more.

Profound sadness. Profound numbness. Profound confusion. Profound anger. Profound uniting.

Years later, we still remember. We still care.

The following quote is a reminder we all need.

“… instead of mourning, instead of a moment of silence or a hateful, islamophobic message, how about today we make the world a little brighter?

Be kinder. Be a little gentler, with yourself and others. Take more pictures. Tell more jokes. Be a better human.

Today is a lot more than a tragedy. Today is a birthday. A day of su***de awareness. A wedding. A birth. A new job. Today is a kiss and someone on a tarred over warehouse roof whispering about the day the earth stood still and the day it began spinning again.

Be kind. Just be kind. It’s time we took this day back for the wild ones, for the fiery eyes, for the happy and the brave and the new. No more mourning. Let it just be a Friday.”
