U Artist Music – is a New York based cultural and educational initiative. We are proud to offer these courses in order to facilitate new learning and performance opportunities in the world of cultural diffusion.



Dr. Elena Grigorenko is a music educator, critic, and writer. Born in Kiev, she studied at Tchaikovsky Kiev Conservatory (now National Music Academy of Ukraine) and later at New York University. While in Kiev she worked as Artistic Director of Kiev's main philharmonic hall – Lysenko Philharmonic Hall. Ms. Grigorenko resides in New York, working in the fields of recording industry, music research, education, and writing. She is a member of the American Musicological Society and the author of the book John Cage Creation, a monograph about the 20th-century American composer.
