This play is everything, scoping out to view the shaping of America, while zooming in to examine the personal life of this poet of the body and the soul. Controversial exists alongside the beloved -- a landscape of division in our country during the Civil War -- with Whitman's Leaves of Grass as a soul-filled blueprint on how to bring our selves through this country's deepest painful moments, ultimately gifting us hope.

Will earned his BFA in Dance Theatre from UC-Riverside, paving the way for his multi-faceted artistic career.

Currently a company member of Momix Dance Company, Will brings his warmup for actors that progresses into how to create characters through physicality, generating fully-embodied characters. Playing with multiple entrance points, helping you find your way of working, that includes textures, visualization, and experimentation.

What an incredible and exciting first week of CTX 2026!
This past weekend, plays by Kareem Fahmy and Stephen Kaplan launched our New Play Festival. Two great plays and readings, and we are excited to see what's next for these playwrights.
James Braly developed his one-man show, The Monthly Nut.
Nicole Tongue is rehearsing her one-woman show, Kitchen Sink.
Carol Campbell revamped her musical and made huge strides!
Margot Bordelon, Hannah Ryan, and Shellen Lubin joined us to helm new work and create opportunities for playwrights to hear their work.
Our four interns are crushing it!
