Ohene Cornelius Isn’t Code-Switching—He’s Converging

Ohene Cornelius has always lived between worlds—stand-up, music, acting, and community—but on Stand Up Guy, those worlds finally meet. Produced by Tommie Sox and engineered by Craig Levy of Little Pioneer, the record sounds less like a genre blend and more like a personal thesis. Ohene’s stand-up cadence becomes his flow, his jokes become bars, and his lived experience becomes the hook. “I’m a stand up / But I ain’t no joke” lands as both punchline and declaration.
