EDM Legends: Jamie Principle is a foundational pioneer of electronic dance music whose 1984 masterpiece "Your Love" is universally recognized as the track that successfully injected raw passion, vocals, and human sensuality into the minimalist beats of early Chicago house music. The track was a historic turning point. In fact, "Your Love" was inducted into the National Recording Registry of the US Library of Congress. This milestone officially cemented the track as an "American music classic" alongside the most culturally significant recordings in United States history.
"I was responsible for writing, composing, performing, co-producing, and playing all instruments in the song. Surprisingly, Frankie Knuckles, who arranged and co-produced the track, was acknowledged for all of my contributions by Trax Records." — Jamie...”
